
The Business of Influencer Marketing
Influencer marketing has grown exponentially in the past few years. In the process, it has created stars; unleashed unparalleled creativity; and disrupted an entire industry locked in by tri-media. As mobile devices became smaller and more affordable, the audience split into smaller groups and specialized segments. This brought forward an opportunity to become an influencer and distributed the power within the field – fulfilling Andy Warhol’s prophecy of mass 15-minute fame.
Our panel for this week’s DTT represents the major players in this new field – the Influencers, the Brands and the Agencies. And they will discuss the patchwork of business arrangements that run this new industry as well as the prospects for its future.
